Delete your account

You can delete your slapz account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and how to request deletion if you can no longer sign in to the app.

Delete in the app (fastest)

If you can sign in, this is the quickest way:

• Open slapz and go to Settings.
• Tap Delete account.
• Confirm in the dialog.

Your account is then scheduled for deletion. For a 30-day grace period you can recover it by simply signing back in; after that window it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Request deletion without the app

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile and account details (name, username, email).
• The songs, lyrics, recordings, and reels you created.
• Your friends, duets, and social connections.
• Your saved library and in-app preferences.

What may be retained

After deletion we retain only what we are legally or operationally required to keep, and only for as long as necessary:

• Purchase and subscription records are held by Apple or Google, not by slapz. Cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account; cancelling is separate from deleting your slapz account.
• Transaction and tax records required by law, retained for the period the law requires.
• Backups may contain residual copies for a short period before they are rotated out and overwritten.
• Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you.
