Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the slapz app and website. By creating an account or using slapz, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use slapz.

1. Who can use slapz

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required where you live) and able to form a binding contract. If you use slapz on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have permission to do so.

2. Your account

Keep your login credentials secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@slapz.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Your content and rights

slapz generates original music and lyrics from your prompts. As between you and slapz, you own the songs, recordings, and reels you create. You grant slapz a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display your content as needed to operate the service and to deliver features you use (for example mixing your vocal, enabling a duet, or generating a share link). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already saved or for residual backup copies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Generate or upload content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual content involving minors, or that violates others' rights;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Infringe copyrights or trademarks, or upload audio you don't have the rights to;
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service;
• Use slapz to build a competing dataset or model.

The full rules — including what you can and can't prompt the AI to make — live in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You can report content or users in the app, or email dmca@slapz.ai for copyright concerns.

5. Subscriptions and payments

slapz offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the App Store and Google Play and are billed to your store account. They auto-renew until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your store account. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

6. AI-generated content

Songs are produced by automated systems and may not be unique; similar prompts can produce similar results. slapz makes no guarantee that generated content is free of similarity to existing works, and you are responsible for how you use what you create.

7. Service changes

We're actively building slapz and may add, change, or remove features. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the service, and we'll try to give notice of significant changes where practical.

8. Disclaimers

slapz is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, slapz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, or profits arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You can stop using slapz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will revise the date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
